Has anyone tried the Guglhupf for dinner yet?  I was just picking up some pastry this morning and the menu looked appealing.  Similar to the lunch cafe menu — German influence, some small plates, some sharing plates, nothing too out-there on the entree menu, but could be really good if well-prepared to the usual standards.  Maybe the specials are more adventurous?

Curious to hear how it went for others!

Been twice now, and have been very happy.  The salads were interesting.  On one evening we shared the sausage plate, and on another we each got entrees (pork for me, rabbit for the wife).  Very pleasant service, very nice atmosphere great food, and of course interesting desserts.

Well worth going to for a night out.  Entrees for two with drinks, dessert and a tip came in around $75; sharing a plate with salads was a bit cheaper.

I definitely hope to check it out soon, but my lack of funds make my fine dining a little less doable that I would like. I love Guglhupf for brunch and afternoon writing.
