West End Billiards and Bocce

Posted by DID 24 May 2014 One Comment

The folks behind West End Wine Bar have opened a billiards and game room next door (just between the wine bar and the train station). You can cut through the back of the West End Wine Bar, but you can’t take beverages back and forth.

A large, open space, there are six pool tables, two shuffle board tables, dart boards, two sand bocce courts, and a regulation basketball hoop (though worth noting recently their basketball has been “stuck on the roof”). The bar also has a handful of TV’s and some leather booths that would make for an excellent spot to catch a game.

The beer list is decent (a few taps and a dozen or so bottles), they’re offering a few specialty cocktails, but despite affiliation with the Wine Bar, only one red and one white by the glass.

You can order pizzas from the West End Wine Bar next door and West End Billiards and Bocce won us over when they offered us a champagne glass when we ordered a Miller High Life.
