Cave Taureau

A quick look at Cave Taureau, the new wine shop that opened in downtown Durham last month. Cave Taureau is offering a well-curated selection of wines backed up by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their selection varies greatly in price, at their weekly tasting we sampled a $25 bottle and a $10 bottle. I personally really enjoyed the a table full of “wines from your favorite local restaurants.” Like Wine Authorities, Cave Taureau is also offering a selection of cocktail accoutrements (vermouth, bitters, etc). With the hole left by Reliable Cheese, Cave Taureau is a nice place to stop in to grab a bottle of wine downtown.
