Anyone been to Fins and Wings lately? Guy running it was nice enough. As I recall the wings weren’t great, but the breading and seasoning on his fish was pretty divine.

I’m curious as to how this openings report works – GG The Taste of Chicago & Fish Chicken – has been open for almost a year.

Full-page two-sided insert in today’s Durham Herald Sun announcing that The Saucy Crab – featuring fresh NC seafood – is now open at 4020 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd in Durham [across from the former South Square Mall in the location originally occupied by Macaroni Grill and more recently occupied by a (grilled?) seafood restaurant]. One side of the insert showed the menu which features various styles of steamed crab, shrimp, crawfish, clams, mussels and lobster all priced by the half-pound; side items; fried seafood, chicken wings and chicken tenders; soft drink, tea, beer and wine! Open 4pm-10pm Mon- Thurs and 11am-10pm Fri-Sun. Early bird specials every day from 4-6pm. Sorry for the long post – I have no affiliation with The Saucy Crab. I do have great affinity for steamed seafood and I look forward to my first visit to The Saucy Crab.

Checked out the Saucy Crab last night. Very reasonable pricing for seafood. Had the Snow Crab and Craw fish, Loved it!!! We will be back often.

I love good crawfish but with the menu not mentioning anything about “in season” I’m leary that these are precooked and frozen which to me arent worth eating. I realy do miss The Fish Shack during the spring when they would get a big batch of live ones in every Tuesday.

I’ve had one friend eat there and said it was terrible but have not heard his full review.
