Dame’s chicken and waffles is up and running. Had lunch today, it was the same people as Blue Mountain, but with more chicken and waffles combos. I think there was 10 or so. I had the spicy chicken combo and paired it with a blueberry waffle. It was great.

Drove by later and there was a sign up for dinner between 5 pm and 8 pm. A short window, but it might be worth a go. It would be interesting to see if it was the same menu or not.

Awesome. Glad to hear that there are dinner hours now. It was nearly impossible for me to get to Blue Mountain Catering before when it was only open on weekdays during lunch hours. Are there weekend hours at all?

They didn’t have days listed yet. I got the feeling they were still trying to decide what their hours were going to be in general.

Went for dinner tonight. They didn’t have a lot of their menu available, however the chicken and waffles were still great. The guy who was my server said that they’re going to continue a soft opening until Aug. 27th or so. But after that point they’ll hopefully expand to breakfast and dinner. I’m not sure about weekends, but having more options like this at night is pretty awesome.

I just had the BEST chicken & waffles at Dame’s Chicken & Waffles
in Durham, NC. Those guys in LA have nothing on Dame! And the coffee is no joke. This is one happy New Orleanian who knows good food!! Ok, now GO Saints!
