Los Migueleños

Los Migueleños (3316 Guess Road) is a new Salvadoran place that bills itself, as the picture indicates, the house of pupusas. It is in the same location as the failed Cafe Latino. I stopped in for some pupusas and a torta last week.

Verdict: Decent, but not memorable. The torta de carne asada was fine, but wasn’t anywhere near as good as similar offerings in the area. Likewise, the pupusas were above average, but not great.

Despite this, I will try Los Migueleños again soon. There are several interesting things on the menu that, as this commenter points out, we must try. We will post an update when we try the roasted bull’s testicles.

Yeah, I stopped in a few months ago in the evening and was told that they don’t serve food anymore.

What’s your opinion as the best Pupusas in Durham?
