Tortas are so hot right now!

¡Coma Rico! is another place I drive by all the time but never got around to trying until today. Blogging is totally enriching my life. Anyway I’m so glad I did. I tried a pupusa and a torta (al pastor). The pupusa (pollo y queso) was not quite as good as Orellana’s but was still great. The torta had a lot going on (in a good way). I’d ask for it without all the mayo next time, but the meat (pork) was perfect and it had plantains and jalapenos that worked together deliciously. We also got a mango licuado that was as big as my head and yet I could not stop drinking it. Thank god for my friend’s help with half of it, without which I would completely be dead right now.
The pupuseria is in the back of this casa de cambio.

Hey, Carpe Durham! I’ve been reading your site and really appreciate the reviews. It would be helpful if you could state the location of the restaurant, though – I think I know where this one is located, but I’m not sure of where most of them are.
Thanks, and keep up the great work!

I don’t understand all these crazy foreign words you’re using but I had a torta that was delivered to me all the way at the hospital and it was still quite hot.
